Our client, a successful, well-established Civil and RC Frame Contractor, is actively looking to recruit two BIM Technicians/Coordinators. These are site and Head office based positions in London. Working closely with various BIM team members and project/site team members (design team, Quantity Surveyors, and Civil Engineers) to ensure successful BIM production, integration, R&D, and delivery. You will be reporting to the BIM Manager on a daily basis.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Minimum 3-5 years Revit/Navisworks post-college experience required within building.
- The BIM Technician/Coordinator to undertake 2D drawings and 3D models.
- 3D Model production for all disciplines including the preparation of general arrangement layouts, sections, and details.
- Setting out dxf CAD files from design Intent Revit Models.
- Interpret As Built CAD data and create Revit elements using Dynamo.
- Create topographical surfaces with cut and fill quantities for earthworks and working platform.
- Schedule quantities from design Intent models for Civils and Substructure for tender purposes.
- Model design change approved from the client.
- Strong capability of creating Revit families including and increasing LOD as set out from clients BEP.
- CDE experience.
- Production of detailed design intent and As Built drawings.
- Navisworks Federated models and clash detection reports.
- Collaboration with B360 Design and BIM360 Glue.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- You will ideally have an HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or Building Studies.
- Previous experience working as BIM technician for RC Frame/Civil contractor is ideal.
