One of our RC Frame contractors is seeking experienced Site Engineer/Setting Out Engineer to work on a building project in Bath. The Site/Setting Out Engineer role is to start on Monday (21/01/2019), is an ongoing contract and will include a mixture of basement and reinforced concrete works. The length of the project is initially for 20 weeks.
As the Site/Setting Out Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Accurate setting out/surveying
- Conduct quality control checks and build records
- Assist senior engineer in ensuring all operations are carried out safely
- Assist in the supervising of sub-contractors on site
Requirements:
- CSCS card is required
- Previously worked as a Setting Out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor
- Experienced in RC work (especially basement construction) and ground work - minimum 2 years UK experience
- Must be proficient with TSO 6+ surveying instruments, be familiar with method statements and risk assessments, and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork
