We are specifically seeking motivated and driven Technical Sales Account Managers who are experienced in dealing with components within the machinery that we sell, or similar. It is essential that they have experience of parts and/or aftersales experience of quarry/recycling/plant equipment/automotive or similar machinery and must be able to further develop their knowledge to confidently identify and communicate with their customers on an equal level. Wear parts are a key part of the machine, and you would be expected to develop customer retention of genuine O.E.M. wear parts sales in a competitive, spurious marketplace.

As a Technical Sales Account Manager, you will be selling to an already established customer base but must be confident in both inbound and outbound sales with the capabilities to identify new selling opportunities within every call. The candidate must be able to forge and develop strong relationships with new customers following a capital sale within the group to encourage loyal buying behaviours from the beginning. There may also be a requirement to carry out face-to-face site visits with your customer base once per month.

  • Overcoming objections and using negotiation skills to address them

The person

  • Technical sales experience within a parts or service delivery position
  • Responsible for the account management of a territory
  • Experience in new business sales and account management
  • B2B sales experience highly beneficial
  • Motivation to earn good commissions / used to targets
  • Willing to learn and adapt to new products and services
  • Must be conscientious and respectful towards colleagues
  • Strong administrative skills to ensure strategic forecasting and planning
