As an Apprentice, you will:

• Learn all aspects of Early Years Education at Level 2 or Level 3, as appropriate
• Organise activities to develop the children\’s skills
• Provide for the care and practical needs of the children, including health, hygiene and nutrition, well-being
• Work as part of a professional, friendly and supportive team
• Benefit from the support of a College Tutor, who will help you to achieve your qualification

You must be:

• Well-spoken and well-presented
• Able to work with independence
• Able to communicate well, in writing as well as spoken word
• Able to work well with a team
• Flexible, with a positive attitude
• Resilient and reliable

In your Education, you would ideally have:

• GCSE Level 4 or above in English and / or Maths
• If you DO NOT have GCSE Level 4 in English and / or Maths, you may still be considered. A Functional Skills Course will be required.

Interview and Acceptance by our Apprenticeship Provider is a necessary part of our recruitment process.

The job is based in HAYFIELD, Derbyshire. it is an easy commute from Whaley Bridge, Chapel-en-le-Frith, New Mills and the surrounding areas. Buses High Peak 61 and Stagecoach 358 all access our village or driving is also an option. We have no train station.
