Run one of our flagship Central London centres end to end — keeping three things always in perfect balance: standards, clients and your team.

Your building. This is the seat where the centre becomes yours to run — the standards, the client relationships, the team and the commercial result all sit with you.

£55,000–£60,000 + 20–50% site bonus. A package built to reward delivery — with a real, supported path to Operations Director within 2–3 years.

What you’ll own:

  • Run the centre end to end. Standards, clients and team always in balance — your building, run as a centre of excellence.
  • Own the client relationship. Lead service reviews, anticipate needs, and keep satisfaction and retention high.
  • Lead and grow the team. Recruitment, 1-2-1s, performance management and personal development plans.
  • Hold the full site P&L. Complete revenue and budget responsibility — every cost and revenue line understood.
  • Own the commercial result. Full accountability for viewings, renewals and the centre’s commercial performance.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Analytical problem solver — You spot the issue, find the practical fix, and act decisively.
  • Commercial mindset — A real understanding of what makes a centre commercially successful.
  • People leadership & EQ — You motivate, develop and get the best from your team.
  • Relationship builder — Trusted relationships with clients and contractors alike.
  • Standards-driven — You maintain and continually raise the centre’s standards.
  • Positively Responsive — with a smile.
  • Devoted to Deliver — empowered to act.
  • Genuinely Thoughtful — your point of view.

Where this role takes you:

General Manager → Senior Operations Manager → Operations Director. And the horizon for the right person: a real shot at Operations Director within 2–3 years — backed by a thorough, supportive development programme delivered at the pace that suits you.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Flagship Central London buildings — you’ll work somewhere you’re proud of.
  • Real, fast growth — a business opening new buildings means genuine room to climb.
  • Backed, not thrown in — supportive training at a pace that suits you.
  • A genuine team — events, lunches and a one-team culture where people look out for each other.

30% of our people have been promoted. 86% are proud to work here. 84% say the training is outstanding. 98% portfolio occupancy vs 83–88% industry.

THIS COULD BE YOUR STORY:

From the front line to Executive Director. Every one of these roles has a real shot at Operations Director in 2–3 years.

Indre Vasiliauskaite — NOW — EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, BLUE GEM. Indre didn’t come from our sector. She built her foundation in client-facing roles elsewhere, where service, standards and a feel for people became second nature. We hired her for exactly that. Everything that followed, she earned — and it’s the clearest proof that the seat you’re looking at can take you all the way.

Client-facing foundation. Built her service and standards outside our industry. Business Manager — One Avenue Group. Joined the Group; quickly led multiple projects and drove centre growth. Head of Operations. Promoted within three years to lead operations across the business. Operating Board — One Avenue Group. A seat helping steer the direction of the Group. Executive Director — Blue Gem. The top table — shaping the future of the business she helped build. She started where you’re starting. The next chapter could be yours.
