We are a leading General Contractor delivering a major data centre project in Slough, and we are seeking an experienced Site Quality Lead (CSA) to join the team on a contract basis – outside IR35. This is a high-profile, fast-paced scheme within one of the UK’s most active data centre hubs, offering a strong day rate and long-term contract potential.

The Role

As Site Quality Lead (CSA), you will take full ownership of quality assurance and quality control activities across all Civil, Structural and Architectural packages on site. You will work closely with Project Management, Engineering teams, subcontractors, and the client to ensure all works are delivered in line with specifications, programme, and industry best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all CSA quality activities on site
  • Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan and ITPs
  • Carry out inspections, audits, and surveillance of subcontractor works
  • Review and approve method statements and quality documentation
  • Manage NCRs and drive timely close-out
  • Interface with client representatives and third-party inspectors
  • Support handover documentation and QA dossiers
  • Promote a strong “right first time” quality culture

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a CSA-focused Quality Lead/Manager role
  • Background in large-scale construction or mission-critical projects
  • Data centre experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, ITPs, ISO standards
  • Confident managing subcontractors and client interfaces
  • Available to start at short notice preferred
