Take ownership of one of the UK's most significant mission-critical construction projects. We're recruiting for an experienced Project Planner to join the client team delivering a brand-new 60MW hyperscale data centre in Northamptonshire. This is a rare opportunity to work directly for the project owner, overseeing programme delivery across a flagship development from construction through to completion.

Working closely with the General Contractor, consultants and project stakeholders, you'll be responsible for ensuring programme performance, identifying risks, challenging schedules where required and providing clear reporting to senior leadership.

The Role

  • Manage and maintain the client's master project programme using Primavera P6.
  • Review, challenge and validate General Contractor programmes and progress.
  • Monitor project milestones, critical path activities and programme risks.
  • Produce detailed reports, lookaheads and executive programme updates.
  • Work closely with project management, commercial and technical teams to ensure programme alignment.
  • Identify delays, mitigation strategies and recovery opportunities.
  • Support planning governance and programme assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong Primavera P6 expertise is essential.
  • Previous data centre project experience is essential.
  • Experience working either client-side or for a principal contractor on complex projects.
  • Excellent understanding of critical path analysis, earned value and programme reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge contractors where necessary.
  • Able to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
