Our client is looking for a Digital Learning Designer to join their Learning Design team. This role will be responsible for creating engaging, accessible and effective eLearning solutions across a compliance-focused learning portfolio.
Working closely with Subject Matter Experts, designers and internal stakeholders, you will transform complex information into high-quality digital learning experiences that support learner engagement, knowledge retention and positive learning outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Digital Learning Designer who is passionate about delivering impactful digital learning in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging eLearning content, storyboards and learning materials using sound instructional design principles.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to translate complex content into effective, learner-focused digital learning solutions.
- Develop engaging digital learning solutions, using Articulate Rise and Storyline.
- Review, update and enhance existing learning content, ensuring it remains accurate, engaging and aligned to learner and market needs.
- Apply accessibility, inclusion and quality assurance standards across all learning materials.
- Manage multiple learning design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, quality standards and project objectives are achieved.
- Use learner feedback, analytics and stakeholder input to continuously improve learning content and experiences.
- Contribute to learning design innovation, best practice and the ongoing development of digital learning approaches.
- Liaise with graphic designers and multimedia designers.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience designing and developing eLearning content, ideally within a compliance, regulatory or highly governed environment.
- Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and digital learning best practice.
- Experience working closely with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive learning design practices.
- Experience using Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality learning solutions.
Qualifications
- Relevant L&D, Instructional Design or Digital Learning qualifications would be advantageous.
