HR Advisor\\n£30K-£32K Basic Salary\\nLeeds/Hybrid\\n\\nWe are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to support the day-to-day operations of our client's HR department. In this role, you will take an advisory position, ensuring best practices in recruitment, retention, and employee engagement. You will play a key part in upholding company policies and procedures while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

This is a hands-on role where you will provide frontline support to the HR Manager and Global HR function, assisting line managers in all aspects of people management.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to attract top talent.\\n\\n * Collaborate with the marketing and HR teams to enhance the company’s employer brand and recruitment presence.\\n\\n * Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring impartiality and escalation of high-risk cases when necessary.\\n\\n * Lead quarterly and annual engagement surveys, analysing results and recommending improvements.\\n\\n * Support initiatives to build a strong and positive workplace culture.\\n\\n * Handle first-line concerns, ensuring fair and compliant resolutions, in relation to disciplinary’s, grievance, and performance management\\n\\n * Oversee absence reporting and advise managers on best practices for handling attendance issues.\\n\\n * Coach and mentor people managers on HR policies and best practices, identifying training needs and maintaining appraisal programs.\\n\\n * Promote and support employee wellbeing, educating managers on best practices and available resources.\\n\\n * Assist in the development and refinement of HR policies to ensure an agile and progressive HR function.\\n\\n * Assist the HR Manager and Finance team in ensuring an accurate payroll process.\\n\\n * Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and HR software systems.\\n\\n * Respond to HR queries and handle ad hoc duties as required.\\n\\nSkills\\n\\n * Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and time-management skills.\\n\\n * Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.\\n\\n * Resilient, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning.\\n\\n * Ability to influence, coach, and mentor managers and employees.\\n\\nQualifications:\\n\\n * CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it.\\n\\nExperience\\n\\n * 1-2 years’ experience in a standalone HR role, such as HR Advisor or Consultant.\\n\\n * Strong background in managing complex employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes.\\n\\n * Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.\\n\\n * Experience working with HR software systems.\\n\\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite\\n\\n * Spanish-speaking or willingness to learn is desirable\\n\\nBlue Eskimo is the leading provider of specialist recruitment for the Learning and Development, e-learning and Training sectors.
