Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a company-wide Learning & Development strategy aligned to business goals
  • Conduct training needs analysis to identify skills gaps and future capability requirements
  • Design and deliver blended learning programmes, including workshops, digital learning, and coaching
  • Build structured learning pathways across technical, leadership, and behavioural areas
  • Manage and optimise the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring strong engagement and accurate reporting
  • Track and evaluate learning effectiveness using data and performance metrics
  • Manage the L&D budget, including forecasting and supplier spend
  • Source and manage external training providers and partnerships
  • Produce insights and reporting for senior leadership to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to embed a culture of continuous development
  • Lead and develop a small training administration team

Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • CIPD L&D qualification (or equivalent) preferred

Skills

  • Strong understanding of learning strategy and organisational development
  • Ability to design and deliver blended learning solutions
  • Confident using data to evaluate and improve learning outcomes
  • Experience managing LMS platforms and learning technologies
