The Student Advisor is responsible for ensuring the best student experience for the career coaching service at Blue Education. This person will serve as a key point of contact for our students, parents, and tutors, acting as a coordinator and liaison to support our students' goals and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage course scheduling based on each student’s career plan and provide timely progress updates.
  • Continuously optimise learning plans in line with tutoring progress and student feedback.
  • Review and refine students’ CVs, tailoring content to specific job requirements.
  • Independently source job opportunities on relevant recruitment platforms and support students with applications.
  • Coordinate online assessments, mock interviews, and scenario‑based interview practices, delivering timely feedback.
  • Provide regular progress reports and next‑step planning updates to students and parents, incorporating their feedback.
  • Communicate feedback efficiently and consistently with students, parents, and internal teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and deliver high‑quality customer service.
  • Handle complaints and suggestions promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct weekly progress reviews with team members to ensure students stay on track and adjust schedules based on mentor guidance.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above (majors in Economics, Finance, Business, Education, or TESOL preferred).
  • Preferred candidates with hands‑on experience independently applying for Investment Banking Spring Weeks or Summer Internships, familiar with online assessments and video interview processes, and experienced in sourcing and applying for relevant roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; native proficiency in Mandarin.
  • Strong passion for education and student development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced working environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
