The Role

As the Chief Editor of New Media Content, you will be responsible for content planning and daily operations across Blue Education’s study abroad new media matrix, including WeChat Official Accounts, Red Note, and WeChat Channels, continuously enhancing brand influence and user conversion. You will respond quickly to industry trends and trending topics, produce high‑quality original content, optimise content operation processes, and support content team management to drive efficient multi‑platform operations and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for content planning and daily operations across the study abroad new media matrix (WeChat Official Accounts, Red Note, WeChat Channels, etc.), ensuring efficient production of high‑quality original content.
  • Closely monitor education industry trends and ensure topic planning and content output are completed within 24 hours of major trending events.
  • Lead the development of standardised content workflows, optimising the full process from topic selection to content distribution, driving significant quarter‑on‑quarter growth in readership.
  • Manage the content editorial team, set KPI targets, and organise weekly content brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications And Competencies

  • At least 3 years of new media experience in the education industry, with strong knowledge of study abroad policies and university information across the UK, US, Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
  • Strong ability to create viral content; candidates with proven cases of single articles reaching 100K+ views are preferred.
  • Proficient in market data analysis tools and able to independently complete competitor analysis.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, capable of managing multiple platform operations simultaneously, and adaptable to flexible working arrangements.
