About Blue Education

Blue Education provides premium academic planning, tutoring and admissions support to ambitious students and families. We are looking for an experienced Mandarin-speaking client-service professional to manage family relationships and ensure a consistently high standard of service. This is a client relationship and service-delivery role, not a teaching role. Education-sector experience is welcome but not required.

The Role

You will be a key point of contact for a portfolio of students and families, working closely with tutors, academic consultants and internal teams. Your job is to make sure clients know what is happening, actions are followed through, problems are identified early and families receive a thoughtful, responsive and professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with students and parents.
  • Coordinate tutors, consultants, lessons, meetings and follow-up actions.
  • Provide proactive progress and service updates in Mandarin and English.
  • Identify service or engagement risks early and take ownership of follow-up.
  • Handle questions, complaints and service-recovery situations professionally.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, communication logs and action trackers.
  • Support client satisfaction, retention and renewals.
  • Escalate complex academic, safeguarding or service issues appropriately.
  • Support service delivery during weekends where required.

What We Are Looking For

Essential

  • At least 2 years of full-time professional work experience, preferably in a client-facing or service environment.
  • Native or fluent Mandarin and strong professional English.
  • Experience personally managing clients, customers, guests, families or other external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Calm and solution-focused when handling complaints or pressure.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities without constant supervision.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools.
  • Willing and able to work regular weekends.

Relevant backgrounds may include education services, guardianship, hotels, luxury hospitality, concierge services, private membership clubs, customer success, account management, healthcare coordination, premium travel, family office, private client services or similar high-touch service environments.

Desirable

  • Experience with Chinese-speaking or internationally mobile families.
  • Experience with premium or high-net-worth clients.
  • Experience supporting renewals, retention or service recovery.
  • Familiarity with UK education or admissions.

Who Will Thrive

  • You enjoy looking after clients and building long-term relationships.
  • You notice problems before clients need to chase.
  • You take ownership rather than simply passing problems on.
  • You can be warm while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • You are comfortable following up persistently and solving practical problems involving several people.

This role is unlikely to suit someone looking for their first professional job, a short-term graduate role, limited client interaction or a Monday-to-Friday-only working pattern.

Career Development

High-performing team members can progress into senior client service, student success, education consulting, operations or client relationship leadership roles.
