Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, commercially minded Sales Assistant and account manager to support the senior leadership team in closing and delivering high value sponsor and partner relationships across Blue Earth Forum and Blue Earth Summit. This is a supportive, detail focused role, working closely alongside directors in meetings with major partners. You will play a critical role in turning conversations into signed agreements, managing contract processes, and ensuring partners feel well supported from deal close through to event delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to senior decision making, thrives on follow through and structure, and takes pride in making deals happen smoothly and professionally.

The role
As an account manager you will support commercial delivery across:
- Strategic partner and sponsor packages
- Exhibition and premium expo partners
- Delegate group bookings and memberships, where required
You will attend partner meetings alongside directors, take responsibility for post meeting actions, and ensure momentum is maintained through to signed agreement. As the event approaches, you will transition into a hands on account management role, supporting partners with delivery, logistics, and communication. This is not a cold sales role. It is about precision, follow through, and making sure nothing falls between the cracks.
Key responsibilities
- Sales support and deal progression
- Attend partner and sponsor meetings with directors, capturing actions and next steps
- Lead all post meeting follow up, proposals, and documentation
- Manage contract preparation, revisions, and progression to signature
- Actively chase signatories and approvals to close deals efficiently
- Maintain clear records of deal status, timelines, and dependencies
- CRM and administration
- Update and maintain CRM records accurately following meetings and deal progress
- Track pipeline stages and ensure data is up to date and reliable
- Support reporting on deal status, contracts sent, and agreements signed
- Partner account management
- Act as a point of contact for partners once agreements are signed
- Support partners with onboarding, timelines, and expectations
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure partner deliverables are understood and met
- Provide calm, professional support to partners in the run up to events
- Internal coordination
- Work closely with marketing, production, and operations teams to align partner delivery
- Ensure senior leadership have clear visibility on deal progress and risks
- Help keep the commercial process organised, timely, and professional

Experience and attributes
- Experience in sales support, account management, partnerships, or commercial coordination
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and high value partners
- Highly organised, detail oriented, and proactive with follow up
- Confident handling contracts, documentation, and multiple moving parts
- Clear, professional communicator, both written and verbal
- Calm under pressure and comfortable working to event driven timelines
- Interest in sustainability, innovation, and purpose led business
£32,000 to £40,000 basic salary depending on experience
