Overview
Up to 28k per annum pro rata – part time 2-3 days per week with scope to increase. We’re looking for Paid Social Specialists with an interest in D2C & ECOM to come on board with our remote team.
To clarify what we mean by \”Paid Media Manager\” (since titles & job names are always a little extra in marketing) – Those who can strategise ad campaigns, build ad campaigns in platform, optimise ad campaigns & report on ad campaigns running on social platforms (such as Meta, Pinterest & TikTok). We have an in-house creative team so you\’re not required to produce creatives, but being able to plan, inform & feedback with/to the creative team is a must!
About Us
Blue Drop Studio in its current form is a small team of three with the addition of a variety of contractors (que ambitious plans…) with a desire to grow. We would like to build a team that can help us do just that.
We\\\’ve started off by working with smaller Ecommerce brands, typically those doing 10-25k on a monthly basis in revenue & scaling them. Some of our biggest accounts pull in £2m per month and some of our smallest pull in around £12k per month.
Our current client roster covers multiple verticals, but are all direct-to-consumer online stores and primarily lifestyle brands. We work with Jewellery, Apparel/Fashion, Fitness, Supplements, Cosmetics and Homeware brands. We\\\’re not sure if we want to specialise in one of these verticals, yet.
We primarily offer three services to Ecommerce brands:
- Paid Social Advertising, including AD creative editing & UGC sourcing services
- PPC Advertising across Google platforms
- Email Marketing setups & monthly flow/campaign management
We are looking for a part time team member for the longer-term journey. This is going to be one of our early hires so there will be lots of opportunity to learn, grow & progress into more senior agency, advertising & ecommerce related roles, if that\\\’s something you are looking for.
About the job
If you\\\’re applying for this job you\\\’ll be expected to do the following along side an account lead:
- Planning & strategizing improvements to performance, based on historical data as well as understanding wider industry trends & current advertising best practice
- Planning new campaigns for product launches, restocks & a variety of other events
- Optimisation of active campaigns to improve performance
- Measuring & reporting on tests, advertising campaigns and overall account performance
- Get used to being very organised with your time & actions using our project management tool ClickUp
- Work with the creative team to produce creatives that convert
- Show up & communicate
We think the right person should:
- Keep more than just a finger on the pulse of the ever changing landscape of digital advertising
- Watch ads (not every time, let\\\’s be reasonable) instead of skipping them, with a natural curiosity
- Have 1 or more years of experience working with at least one of the following digital advertising platforms: Meta, Google for ecommerce businesses
- The following ad platforms are not must haves, but “nice to haves”: TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter
- Have a good understanding of how to navigate Google Analytics & should naturally be able to read through advertising analytics, regardless of the platform
We think the perfect person should:
- Have a fantastic understanding of the advertising for Ecommerce & D2C space & the trends related to advertising
- Want to try new things where it makes sense & not be afraid to take risks where relevant
- Know how to read advertising data, analyse it & be able to derive learnings & ways to improve moving forward
Remote working
- Since we\\u2019re remote, regular video calls are a must
- You\\u2019ll have to have a good enough internet connection to support video calls
- We work on UK office hours
- The language we use to communicate with our clients is English, you must be highly proficient/fluent in speaking, reading & writing this language.
- You will need to be able to naturally manage your time & productivity.
