We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Gardening General Assistant to join our team at Worcester Garden Centre. Are you enthusiastic about gardening and enjoy hands-on, physical work? If you take pride in maintaining high standards and providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
This is a practical and physically active role supporting the gardening and outdoor areas of the centre. You will help ensure the department is well-presented, fully stocked, and ready to provide an excellent experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers with gardening products and general enquiries
- Replenishing stock and maintaining displays
- Supporting with deliveries and moving heavy items
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the gardening area
- Assisting customers with carrying and loading purchases
- Supporting colleagues across the centre as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an interest in gardening (knowledge desirable but not essential)
- Is reliable
- Enjoys physical, hands-on work
- Has a positive attitude and good customer service skills
- Works well as part of a team
