Site Project Manager

Our Directors at Blue Diamond Recruitment have successfully recruited for this senior management team for near a decade and are pleased to be instructed on another important role for the business as they grow.

This Site Manager opportunity is with a well-established house builder as they seek to appoint an experienced professional to be part of their tight knit team and manage sites across Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a business where teamwork and culture is key, they are building their business around the right people.

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on site, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, manage and motivate site staff and support the development of Assistant Site Managers through active mentoring.

The successful candidate will run one site at a time, typically sized between 25 and 120 units, using timber frame construction.

We’re looking for someone who is not only a competent professional but who also brings a fresh, proactive approach. You should thrive on new challenges and have a willingness to think differently, all while maintaining a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion

Coordinate subcontractors

Mentor and guide assistant site staff

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Maintain site records and reporting in line with company procedures

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Assistant / Site Manager within residential construction

Timber frame experience preferred but not essential

Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills

Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality homes

Full UK driving licence
