Blue Diamond Recruitment is working exclusively with a reputable and growing business as they look to appoint a Senior Land Manager to join their East Midlands team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven land professional to operate as the number two within the regional land function, working closely alongside a highly regarded and well-connected Director. You will play a key role in delivering the region’s land acquisition strategy, focusing on identifying and securing residential development opportunities across the East Midlands patch. This business has exciting growth plans to more than double their output within the next 4 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, appraise and secure residential development opportunities across the East Midlands region (typically 30–200 units).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, promoters, housing associations and local authorities.
  • Work collaboratively with the Land Director to shape and deliver the regional land acquisition strategy.
  • Manage land offers, negotiations and acquisitions through to contract completion.
  • Support partnership deals and joint venture opportunities with Registered Providers and other development partners.
  • Prepare and present detailed site appraisals, reports and recommendations for board approval.

You must have a proven track record and be well connected across the East Midlands patch to be considered for this role. A strong background working for reputable house builders/developers/registered providers would be an ideal fit for this role. Experience with partnerships is preferable but not essential. You will be a commercially astute professional with the ability to identify and secure profitable opportunities. As this business grows, you will contribute to the team and be invested in their plans.
