Overview
Blue Diamond Recruitment are recruiting exclusively for a proven Land & Planning Manager to join a well established house builder located in the East Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially stable business where you will be fully backed to identify, secure and drive forward new residential sites across both immediate land (East Midlands) and strategic land (nationally). This permanent position has become available due to continued organic growth.
As Land and Planning Manager, you will:
- Lead on the identification, appraisal and acquisition of residential development opportunities (50+ units for immediate; 150+ units for strategic, with no upper limit).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, agents, promoters, local authorities and consultants.
- Negotiate land deals that align with the company’s commercial strategy and profitability targets.
- Oversee planning strategy, working closely with external consultants to ensure robust and successful applications.
- Prepare and present offers, appraisals and reports to the Board.
- Drive sites from feasibility through planning to the point of delivery.
- Have a strong network across the East Midlands patch.
