As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step in during busy periods, holidays, or staff absences, bringing your retail management experience to a varied, dynamic role rooted in the community.
Responsibilities
- Ensure every customer feels welcome, offering great service with a smile and helping them find something special.
- Sort through donations, price items and create eye‑catching displays that make our shop inviting and vibrant.
- Promote Gift Aid, explaining how it helps us raise even more funds to support sick, injured and homeless pets.
- Assist customers with choosing the perfect bargain and organise stock or lend a hand to volunteers.
- Maintain the shop clean, tidy and well‑presented, knowing that every task helps make a difference to pets in need.
- Work Monday to Saturday 09:00–17:00, maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
About You
- You’ll bring previous retail experience, including some time spent supervising or managing, and you’ll be confident working with all sorts of customers.
- Flexibility is important as shifts vary, so you’ll be happy to jump in when needed.
- You’ll also be organised, practical and ready to get stuck into whatever the day brings.
