Blue Cross is seeking a Resourcing Partner to join our Resourcing team, supporting our Retail and Rehoming & Fostering Services directorates. This fast‑paced, high‑volume role will deliver quality recruitment, helping us find the right people to support pets and those who love them. You may be based in Newport, Burford, Radcliffe, Manchester or Oxfordshire with hybrid working, bringing work to the office minimum of two days per week.

As a Resourcing Partner you will provide a proactive, consultative resourcing service across the full recruitment lifecycle. Partner closely with hiring managers, giving expert advice, constructive challenge and data‑led insight to shape recruitment strategies. You will manage high‑volume campaigns across the Retail and Rehoming & Fostering Services teams, designing and delivering attraction strategies, while maintaining candidate experience and inclusive hiring practices. You will also support specialist recruitment with tailored approaches to attract the right talent in a competitive market.
About you
You are an experienced resourcing professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident managing high volumes of recruitment activity. Ideally you bring in‑house experience or have worked closely with internal stakeholders in a complex organisation. You build strong relationships, provide clear and credible advice, and balance competing priorities. You take a thoughtful approach to continuous improvement, reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities to enhance recruitment delivery. You are motivated by delivering a great candidate experience and are passionate about inclusive recruitment.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
- Proven experience of delivering end‑to‑end recruitment, ideally within an in‑house, agency or RPO setting
- Experience working within structured recruitment processes, balancing stakeholder needs with governance, compliance and organisational priorities
- Strong understanding of attraction strategies across multiple channels, including digital and social media
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Proven experience of using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage recruitment activity, ensuring accurate data management, reporting and compliance
- Ability to interpret recruitment data and use insights for decision‑making and continuous improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills, capable of managing competing priorities effectively
- Proactive, self‑motivated, resilient and adaptable approach
- Understanding and application of Blue Cross values
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
- Knowledge of inclusive recruitment practices and attracting under‑represented groups
- Experience of direct sourcing using LinkedIn, job boards and talent databases
- Experience of optimising or improving recruitment systems, processes or reporting
- Knowledge of current employment law relating to recruitment, including equality and reasonable adjustments
