Love retail and making a difference? Our busy charity shop is looking for a Zero Hours Cover Supervisor to help keep the shop running smoothly, support our volunteers, and welcome customers searching for their next great find.

- Customer service is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll ensure every visitor feels welcome – two-legged or four! – and that the shop is a friendly, inviting place to browse.
- You’ll also champion Blue Cross and the incredible work we do for pets and people whenever the opportunity arises.
- On the sales side, you’ll drive Gift Aid sign-ups, process donations, price items to maximise fundraising and keep the shop floor looking its best.
- From eye-catching window displays to tidy rails and shelves, you’ll ensure everything is attractive, safe, and ready to sell.
- This new shop space is a great place to work, acting as a mini hub for stock, with plenty of treasures waiting to be discovered.
- You’ll also support our fantastic team of volunteers, keeping the day running smoothly while maintaining a positive and fun atmosphere.

This is a zero-hours contract, which means your hours will vary based on the shop’s needs. For this role, the total hourly rate is £14.24, including additional elements like holiday pay.
About you
- You’ll bring previous retail experience, including some time spent supervising or managing and you’ll be confident working with all sorts of customers.
- Flexibility is important as shifts vary so you’ll be happy to jump in when needed.
- You’ll also be organised, practical and ready to get stuck into whatever the day brings.
