Position: Sustainability Strategy Advocate at AstraZeneca

Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire

Type: Permanent, Full-time

Challenge

Influence the wider Ambition Zero Carbon strategy and advocate with external bodies on critical sustainability targets and topics.

Requirements

1. BSc/PhD in a relevant discipline
2. Significant experience in a Research & Development or Manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical industry
3. Detailed understanding of drug development and the role of chemical development
4. Technical expertise in practical synthetic chemistry
