Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) – Didcot, Oxfordshire
The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) is a world-leading multi-disciplinary science organisation. We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, results-oriented Environmental Sustainability Programme Manager to support the delivery of the UKRI Environmental Sustainability Strategy and the STFC Action Plan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering programmes of work from the STFC Action Plan under the themes of leadership, staff empowerment, physical environment, science delivery, collaboration, and procurement. This is an exciting and empowering role with the ability to make real improvements in our environmental performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and delivering the UKRI Environmental Sustainability Strategy and STFC\’s associated action plan
- Leading initiatives on staff empowerment and procurement
