About the Role

We are looking for a Property Accounts Assistant to join our Property & Investment Finance team in London.

This is a great opportunity for someone with prior property finance, real estate accounting, or similar experience who enjoys working with detailed financial data, reconciliations, rent rolls, service charge information, and third-party property manager reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and review rent rolls, lease data, billing schedules and income records across the property portfolio.
  • Support rent receipt postings, bank reconciliations, arrears reporting and aged debt analysis.
  • Assist with service charge reconciliations, variance analysis and property-level financial reporting.
  • Liaise with third-party property managers and managing agents to review reports, resolve queries and ensure timely information flow.
  • Track key lease events, including rent reviews, expiries, break clauses and indexation uplifts.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years’ experience in property finance, real estate accounting or a similar role.
  • Required Skills
  • Good understanding of rent rolls, leases, service charges and property reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience with MRI, Qube or Yardi would be desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
