We are looking for a hands-on Electronics / Hardware Engineer to design and develop microcontroller and application processor-based embedded systems. This role sits at the hardware/software boundary, involving board-level design, firmware development, and Linux bring-up.

What you'll do:

  • Design and develop analogue/digital circuits and PCB layouts
  • Perform board bring-up, debugging, and prototype validation
  • Integrate hardware with firmware and embedded Linux systems
  • Collaborate across teams throughout the full product lifecycle
  • Support EMC compliance, testing, and production readiness

What we're looking for:

  • ~5+ years electronics/hardware engineering experience
  • ~ Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, PIC) and application processors (ARM Cortex-A or similar)
  • ~ Strong hardware debugging and lab skills (oscilloscope, logic analyser, etc.)
  • ~ Knowledge of SPI, IC, UART, CAN, and high-speed interfaces
  • ~ Experience with embedded firmware and Linux bring-up
  • ~ An engineer who focuses on outcomes and delivers at pace
  • ~ Strong judgement in balancing speed, quality, and maintainability
  • ~ Ability to prioritise high-impact work and avoid low-value tasks
  • ~ Practical, solution-oriented mindset

Nice to have:

  • x86 systems (Intel/AMD) experience
  • Mains voltage / SMPS design experience
  • Wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, LoRa)
  • Manufacturing or production test experience
