We are looking for a hands-on Electronics / Hardware Engineer to design and develop microcontroller and application processor-based embedded systems. This role sits at the hardware/software boundary, involving board-level design, firmware development, and Linux bring-up.
What you'll do:
- Design and develop analogue/digital circuits and PCB layouts
- Perform board bring-up, debugging, and prototype validation
- Integrate hardware with firmware and embedded Linux systems
- Collaborate across teams throughout the full product lifecycle
- Support EMC compliance, testing, and production readiness
What we're looking for:
- ~5+ years electronics/hardware engineering experience
- ~ Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M, STM32, PIC) and application processors (ARM Cortex-A or similar)
- ~ Strong hardware debugging and lab skills (oscilloscope, logic analyser, etc.)
- ~ Knowledge of SPI, IC, UART, CAN, and high-speed interfaces
- ~ Experience with embedded firmware and Linux bring-up
- ~ An engineer who focuses on outcomes and delivers at pace
- ~ Strong judgement in balancing speed, quality, and maintainability
- ~ Ability to prioritise high-impact work and avoid low-value tasks
- ~ Practical, solution-oriented mindset
Nice to have:
- x86 systems (Intel/AMD) experience
- Mains voltage / SMPS design experience
- Wireless technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, LoRa)
- Manufacturing or production test experience
