This is a B2B lead generation business that helps companies get in front of the decision-makers who already have the problems they solve. No smoke and mirrors. Here’s how this role works.
You’ll start with an 80/20 split. That’s 80% outbound calling and 20% account management. Yes, the phone is still a big part of your day. But you already know that good sales starts with good conversations, and that’s exactly what this company values. They don’t want dial monkeys. They want people who can read a room (or a call), ask the right questions, and build genuine relationships.
The best bit? That split doesn’t stay the same. As you build your client base over the first 3 to 6 months, the balance shifts. More clients, more account management, less cold outreach. You’re essentially designing your own role through the work you put in.
