Job Role

The Service and Technical Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing customer enquiries, supporting service operations, coordinating logistics, processing orders, and resolving issues efficiently. This position is key to ensuring a seamless and professional experience for clients and stakeholders. Our ideal candidate would be able to work in the Andover office but we would consider a fully remote position for the right candidate.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email, delivering prompt and professional responses.
  • Maintain and update the spare parts inventory system.
  • Monitor spare part stock levels and place orders to maintain optimal availability.
  • Dispatch spare parts to customers and service teams promptly.
  • Provide quick, responsive support to service customers, including assigning engineers to jobs and overseeing processes through to completion.
  • Assist with service planning, ensuring tasks are scheduled and coordinated effectively.
  • Conduct follow-ups on services to ensure customer satisfaction and address any outstanding concerns.
  • Process orders with accuracy, manage backorders efficiently, and create purchase orders (POs) for third-party suppliers when required.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, such as transport providers and customers, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Contribute to the company’s overall strategy by supporting service, logistics, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Offer advice on products and services to both customers and internal teams.
