Our client is looking to appoint a Senior Organisation Effectiveness Leader to define and deliver its enterprise-wide approach to workforce strategy, organisation effectiveness and operating model execution. This is a senior, high-impact role operating at Group level. The successful candidate will act as a critical enabler of the wider Group strategy, ensuring the organisation is structured, led and governed in a way that improves growth, efficiency, accountability and client outcomes.

The mandate is to help build a more scalable, economically disciplined and high-performing organisation, translating strategy into clear capability, structure, accountability and measurable performance outcomes. The role will lead across:

  • Enterprise workforce strategy across Wealth, Asset Management and Group Functions
  • Strategic workforce planning, skills and capability architecture
  • Organisation effectiveness, including spans, layers, decision rights and accountability
  • Operating model design and execution
  • Leadership cohort design, succession and pipeline thinking
  • Organisation design governance and business case discipline
  • Transformation sequencing, simplification and cost efficiency initiatives
  • People data, analytics and impact measurement

The successful individual will bring deep experience in organisation effectiveness, workforce strategy, operating model design or enterprise transformation within a complex organisation. They will need strong commercial acumen, the ability to align organisation design with financial outcomes, and the credibility to influence at Board level. Experience in wealth management, asset management or broader financial services would be highly relevant, particularly where they have supported integration, simplification, cost transformation, operating model redesign or large-scale organisational change.

This would suit a strategic but execution-focused OD / organisation effectiveness leader who is comfortable challenging complexity, driving clarity and embedding the disciplines needed to create a more accountable, scalable and performance-led organisation.
