Our client is looking to appoint an Organisation Design Specialist to support the delivery of its target operating model and organisational structures as part of a wider Group transformation agenda. This role sits at the heart of the People function’s transformation activity and will work across Wealth Management, Asset Management and Group Functions to ensure organisation design is strategically aligned, economically grounded and operationally executable.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the business become more effective, scalable and controlled, supporting major transformation, simplification and organisation effectiveness initiatives.

The role will focus on:

  • Organisation design and target operating model delivery
  • Translating strategy into clear structures, accountabilities, spans and layers
  • Strategic workforce planning, capability design and skills planning
  • Organisation effectiveness frameworks and design standards
  • OD governance, approval processes and decision discipline
  • Business case development, including cost, benefits and risk
  • Partnering with Finance to validate cost assumptions and savings delivery
  • Supporting change implementation, consultation planning and workforce impacts
  • Providing structured insight to support senior leadership decision-making
  • Using people data and organisational analytics to track impact and improve outcomes

The successful individual will bring proven experience in organisation design, operating model design or workforce strategy, ideally gained within a complex regulated environment. They will need strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to link structure, cost, productivity and business outcomes. They should also be comfortable operating across both strategic design and practical implementation.

Experience in financial services, wealth management or asset management would be highly relevant, particularly where candidates have supported large-scale transformation, integration, simplification or cost efficiency programmes. This would suit a structured, analytical and outcome-focused OD professional who can build credibility with senior stakeholders, manage ambiguity, drive clarity and challenge constructively where needed.

To apply, please submit a CV. Suitable candidates will be contacted within 48 hours.
