The Role

The Associate Vice Principal will play a pivotal role in developing and leading business growth initiatives within the Aerospace & Defence domain. Acting as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, you will leverage advanced technologies and consulting expertise to help clients achieve their digital transformation and sustainability goals.

This is a client-facing leadership position, responsible for building executive relationships, leading major sales engagements, and defining bespoke solutions that deliver measurable business value. Key Responsibilities

  • Design Winning Solutions: Lead opportunity qualification, solution design, and proposal development in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Drive Thought Leadership: Contribute to marketing, industry events, and thought leadership initiatives that strengthen the organisation’s presence in the Aerospace & Defence sector.
  • Own the Sales Cycle: Manage end-to-end sales processes including forecasting, cost estimation, negotiation, and contract finalisation.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly accomplished professional with a blend of commercial acumen, strategic insight, and technological fluency.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Significant experience within Aerospace & Defence or consulting for the sector, with a strong focus on digital transformation.
  • Proven ability to develop business and deliver strategic consulting engagements across R&D, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.
  • Strong industry network and ability to engage effectively with C-suite stakeholders from day one.
  • Demonstrable track record of driving technology-led growth, including IoT, AI, cybersecurity, IT/OT integration, and digital engineering solutions.
  • Expertise in proposal creation and value-based selling to executive-level clients.
  • Experience managing international, cross-border projects.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation, operational efficiency, and client value creation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science, or IT (advanced degrees such as MBA or PhD advantageous).
