Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator with FLT experience to join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly! Rate of Pay: Β£12.46ph Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday: 07:30-15:30pm Contract: Temp to perm after 12 weeks Purpose: To guarantee raw materials and parent reels unloading, storage and handling in compliance with work instructions and safety guideline Main Responsibilities: β Unload incoming goods from the vehicles recording all necessary paperwork β Carry out visual inspection of all incoming loads to ensure that the load matches the paperwork β Run quality check of all incoming goods β Transport goods using proper equipment and efficiently stack and store them in the correct storage bay β Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed β Operate FLT / Clamp trucks safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectation β Transport required reels and raw materials from warehouse to production workstation β Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies β Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults β Maintain the equipment guaranteeing the daily functioning in line with the work instructions β Carry out periodic stocktaking activities β Guarantee the warehouse space optimization β Transport parent reels from paper mill production area to warehouse if required β Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams β Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need β To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift β To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to Skills required: β RTITB FLT (Counterbalance) is desirable but in house is accepted β Experience in warehouse environment β Good communication skills **Site run a no conviction policy If you feel you have the right experience for the above role, please submit your CV for immediate response.
