Overview
We are recruiting for a full time Warehouse Operative (Material Handler) in Enfield, N9 area.
Job Role
Warehouse Operative (Material Handler)
Hours
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
Pay Rate
Standard: £14.10p/h
Overtime: £18.50ph
Contract
Temp – ongoing Full-time hours
DBS check
Please note a DBS basic check will be required before starting this role!
Duties
- Supports team lead and other team members in all day-to-day activities
- Inventory control & cycle counting
- Goods receiving
- Goods picking & packing for outbound
- Meeting SLAs & KPI targets
- Ensure daily housekeeping is maintained
- Processing outbound material / orders as per work instruction
- Communicating with other teams and providing the best service available on a daily basis
Required skills
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Good English verbal and written skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications Excel Word and Microsoft
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to understand and follow standard working instructions
- Excellent numeric skills
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- Ability to work under pressure
- Completing tasks in a timely and effective manner
- Multitasking with high attention to detail
Previous Experience Required
- Worked in warehousing – minimum 2 years
- Previous experience stock receiving
- Handled Stock picking, packing and shipping
- Managed Inventory control & cycle counting
- Ideal experience working on WMS previously – SAP & JDA
- Experience handling client relationships
