Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator (amazon Dept) to join our clients team based in the Baglan area. Paid Weekly!

Rate of pay: £14.05ph inc 15% shift allowance

Hours of work: 6am-6pm shifts: 12 hour day shifts on a 2 week rotating shift pattern (averages out at 42 hours per week)

Contract: Temp to perm after 12 weeks

Main Responsibilities:

Operating within the warehouse
Picking packing and scanning customer goods
Getting products ready for dispatch
Load finished goods using manual material handling equipment
Check load is safe and secure
Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need
To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
To ensure health & safety rules are adhered toRequirements:

Experience using handheld scanners preferred
Has previous experience working in manufacturing or a warehouse environment
Experience using ride on powered pump trucks preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills
Works well in a team and individually

DBS checks will be carried out on day 1 of the assignment and the company offers a NO conviction policy.
