Overview
Blue Arrow Bristol are looking for delivery van drivers to work for our client based in Avonmouth BS11. The roles involve delivering retail items (up to 20kg) to stores and completing between 2-10 deliveries per day. The positions are long term and you will be working 5 days out of 7 per week.
Working Hours
- Working 5 days per week (you will receive a rota) – occasional weekend work involved
- Start times between 6am – 9am
- Shifts will be around 8-10 hours long
Pay Rates
- Basic pay rate for the first 45 hours weekly is £14.25 per hour
- Overtime after 45 hours weekly paid at £21.37 per hour
Training & Candidate Requirements
- All candidates will need to pass a driving assessment and complete a paid 2 days’ induction process. You will then receive further 3 days’ training with one of their existing drivers and will start working by yourself afterwards.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
- Previous experience in a driving role
- Good customer service skills and telephone manner
- Ability to work occasional weekends
