An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations and Maintenance Supervisor to join a dynamic team at a leading waste processing facility.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Play a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant daily operations.
- Support the Operations & Maintenance Manager, driving performance, maintaining compliance, and promoting continuous improvement across the site.
- Contribute to achieving operational targets and maintaining budgetary control over operations and maintenance functions.
What You Will Bring:
- Completion of an apprenticeship and/or experience in mechanical maintenance or a mechanical bias.
- Proven experience in the waste processing industry or similar environment.
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Strong leadership and resource management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of waste processing machinery and systems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Understanding of safe systems of work.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Financial management capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Familiarity with business systems such as CMMS, financial systems, SharePoint, and time management systems.
