What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications and services
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and software best practices
  • Build scalable, maintainable, and secure applications using modern development methodologies
  • Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and data-driven solutions
  • Support cloud-based and on-premise software environments
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement robust solutions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation across engineering teams
  • Support software deployment, monitoring, and performance optimisation

Skills & Experience

We're interested in professionals who can demonstrate experience in some of the following areas:

  • Commercial software development experience using C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar technologies
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services
  • Knowledge of SQL databases and data modelling principles
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices including testing and code reviews
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments
  • Familiarity with Git and modern version control practices
  • Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within collaborative, cross-functional teams
