Blue Arrow is currently recruiting General Assistants to join our client in a successful and fast-paced operation at Gatwick Airport. This is a key role supporting airline customers by ensuring catering products and equipment are prepared and delivered on time, in line with strict schedules and quality standards.
The Role
- Production
- Preparing and plating food
- Handling packed food items
- Packing amenity kits and flight condiments
- Stacking and organising shelves
- Stock rotation
- Re-ordering dry stock
- General cleaning duties
- Waste removal
- Washing airline equipment to required industry standards
Requirements
- To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be able to handle pork and alcohol products
- Be comfortable standing for long periods and have good mobility
- Be able to work in a chilled environment
- Have a basic understanding of English
