Job Description Job Role – Support and Development Chef Rate of pay – £40,000 – £45,000 Hours – 40 (Monday – Friday) Location – Wandsworth Role Responsibilities – We are looking to recruit a Support & Development Chef to work in South West London area who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the food standards in a group of primary schools, key requirements of the role are: – To compile in conjunction with the area manager the training plan forming part of the training strategy to 45 schools. ·To plan & carry out with assistance from Group Managers new menu workshops. ·To assist operations team in menu planning, development & promotions. ·To ensure the catering establishments’ operations regarding the food quality, presentation and service are provided to the appropriate standards as defined by the area manager. ·To recommend and implement cost reductions and service improvements to the standards as required. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum for working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. The candidate will be craft trained, but also have had some junior management / team leader experience. You will need your own car and would be paid business mileage rates to travel between sites when on Company business.
