Stores Operative 📍 Southampton (SO16) 💷 £15.95 per hour 🕒 Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 07:30 - 15:30 Stores Operative - Southampton We are currently recruiting for a full-time Stores Operative on behalf of our national telecommunications client based in Southampton (SO16). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse or stores professional looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday role with a well-established organisation. Key Responsibilities As a Stores Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and stores environment, including: Receiving, checking, and processing inbound deliveries Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch Sorting and storing stock safely and accurately on racks and shelves Completing inventory and stock control activities using scanners and computer systems Maintaining accurate stock records and warehouse documentation Providing excellent customer service to internal teams, external customers, and contractors Ensuring a safe, clean, and organised working environmentWhat We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have: Previous experience working in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or operational environment Strong customer service skills Good IT and computer literacy Experience using stock control systems, scanners, or warehouse management systems (desirable) A full UK driving licence (preferred for occasional driving duties) The ability to carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting loads of up to 25kg A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentWhat's on Offer?
