Blue Arrow Bristol are looking for a Storeman to work for our client based in Yatton (BS49) near Bristol on a 12 weeks' temp to perm basis. The location is easily accessible from Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon, Nailsea and surrounding areas. The travel from central Bristol will take about 30 minutes in the car.
Working Hours and Salary:
- Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:00
- 07:00-15:00 on Friday
- £13.40 per hour
As a Stores Person, you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading of deliveries
- Undertaking goods inward inspections and booking into IT system as appropriate
- Putting away delivered material into correct storage locations & managing locations
- Preparing and picking material against lists
- Assisting with periodic stock counts
- Responsible for ensuring good housekeeping and cleanliness in general areas
- Fork lift driving duties as required covering stores and shop floor requirements (training will be provided)
- Carrying out cleaning or simple supervised maintenance tasks
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience working in stores/materials environment
- Previous experience working in the warehouse
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be advantageous
- Previous experience using SAP would be advantageous
- Polite telephone manner
- Experience using Microsoft software such as Outlook and Excel
