Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Goods in/out clerk to join the team of our reputable distribution and logistics client in Burton On Trent. You will be joining the warehouse team to ensure the efficient and smooth running of stock entering and leaving the depot for distribution.

Stock/inventory Clerk Pay Rate: £13.10

Hours: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm

Location: Burton on Trent

Duties include:

  • Allocating stock correctly as it moves in and out the depot
  • Ensuring short dated stock is flagged and allocated correctly
  • Following the customer's instructions ensuring pick lists are prepared correctly for the warehouse team
  • Keeping delivery records
  • Recognising and rectifying any issues quickly and efficiently
  • Updating database and systems to ensure information is correct and up to date for the planning teams
  • Act as main POC for warehouse and planning team and the customer

About you:

  • Relevant work experience in similar role, logistics or planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to use multiple systems, i.e., SAP, TMS, GTS.
  • Confident and professional customer service manner
  • Fluent English verbal and written
  • Must pass a drugs and alcohol test on induction and can be tested at any time during this role. This role involves contact with stock containing alcohol.
