We are currently looking for hard-working, enthusiastic people to join our client's team to work in a busy warehouse kitchen environment. This is a great opportunity that offers ongoing weekend work. We are looking for individuals with previous experience in a catering environment.
As a Catering Assistant you will (not limited to):
- Assisting those in the kitchen with you
- Washing pots/pans/utensils
- General food prep
- Serving food at the counter in a canteen environment
- Working front of house
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Keeping surfaces clean and tidy
- Clearing tables
As a Catering Assistant you will have the following skills:
- Able to work within a fast-paced environment
- Able to work on Saturday's and Sunday's any of the working hours
- Punctual
- Able to multi-task
- Can work well within a team and independently
- Can follow direct orders
- Polite and friendly
- Able to build good relationships
The right candidate needs to have their own transport. However, public transport is available - please ensure you check if that’s somewhere you can get for the start/finish times prior to applying.
Main requirements:
- Food & Hygiene level 1 (we can process one for you for free)
- Own transport
- Previous catering experience
- Knowledge of health and safety within a kitchen environment
