Blue Arrow are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier within the construction materials sector for a Class 1 (C+E) HIAB Driver based in Sittingbourne.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver with HIAB experience looking for stable, long-term work with a well-established business offering excellent rates of pay, structured daytime hours, and the opportunity to develop a long-term career.

The Role
As a Class 1 HIAB Driver, you'll be responsible for safely delivering construction and building products to customers across the region.
Deliveries will include:
- Builders' Merchants
- Construction Sites
- Residential Properties
- Commercial Building Projects
You’ll be operating a modern fleet of articulated and drawbar vehicles, carrying out HIAB crane deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts only
- Start times typically between 06:00 and 08:00
- Average shift length 10-12 hours
- No planned nights out
- No weekends
- No Bank Holiday working
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Valid Class 1 (Category CE) Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Strong understanding of Driver Hours & WTD Regulations
- Professional and customer-focused approach
Preferred
- ALLMI Brick & Block Certification
- HIAB / Lorry Loader Experience
- Construction or Builders Merchant delivery experience
Don't have the right HIAB qualification?
We can consider a limited number of experienced Class 1 drivers who are looking to develop their skills, with opportunities for HIAB upskilling available for committed candidates.
Pay & Benefits
Competitive Pay Rates:
- £18.18 per hour for the first 48 hours
- Overtime paid at 1.3x rate
