The Role As a Catering Assistant, you will support the kitchen team to deliver a high-quality food service, ensuring excellent standards of hygiene and customer service. Duties will include: Basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients) Serving food and drinks to customers Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas Setting up and clearing service areas and dining spaces Washing up and maintaining a clean, safe working environment Supporting with stock rotation and deliveries Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures Requirements Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred but not essential A positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team Good communication skills and reliability Understanding of food hygiene standards (training can be provided) Food handlers must follow strict hygiene practices and safety procedures to ensure food is safe to eat.
