Blue Arrow is currently recruiting Production Operatives for our client in the Blairgowrie area.
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Contract: Temporary, starting 9th or 16th June for 4 months' work (approx.)
Pay: £12.80 per hour
Location: Blairgowrie area
Due to location, driver's license and access to a vehicle is desirable. Otherwise, a lift from Blairgowrie can be arranged for the right candidates.
Duties will include:
- Assemble and make up cardboard boxes for packaging products.
- Stack pallets safely and efficiently, following workplace safety guidelines.
- Perform regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Carry out heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required.
- Support other departments with general duties, including cleaning, sorting, or assisting in production lines.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Working on production lines.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred (for example working on a production/ packing line or as a fruit picker).
- Previous experience working on a production line.
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexible and willing to support various departments as needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.
- Willingness to work shifts or flexible hours if required.
- Ideally a driver's license and access to a vehicle.
