- Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00am - 2:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am - 1:30pm

- Basic DBS and DVLA check required before starting
Role Responsibilities
- Safely drive the company van to collect and deliver furniture
- Pick up donated goods from the public and local businesses
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor and volunteers in organising stock
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and donors
- Contribute to a positive, friendly working environment
Key Activities
- Work with the second driver to plan collection and delivery schedules, ensuring efficient routes
- Operate as part of a team alongside staff and volunteers
- Maintain high standards of communication and customer service
- Support and motivate delivery volunteers, helping new volunteers settle in
- Carry out daily basic vehicle checks (oil, brakes, lights)
- Keep the van clean, tidy, fuelled, and fit for purpose
- Record daily mileage accurately
- Load, unload, and move furniture safely
- Assess the condition of collected furniture and determine suitability for reuse
- Attend monthly 1‐to‐1 meetings with the Site Manager
- Be flexible for occasional overtime, including evenings and weekends when needed
