FLT Counterbalance Driver - Northampton (4 on / 4 off) We are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well‑established warehouse logistics client in Northampton (NN1). This is a full‑time, ongoing temporary position offering consistent hours and a stable shift pattern. Location Northampton, NN1 Shift Pattern 4 on / 4 off rotation Nights: 17:45-05:45 Days: 5:45-1745Pay Rate Standard: £16.21 per hour (PAYE) Overtime: £24.02 per hour (PAYE) Contract Temporary ongoing - full-time hours guaranteed Please note: An on-site induction and a Drug & Alcohol test are required as part of the onboarding process. Key Responsibilities Safely and accurately load and unload customer products. Verify and confirm all incoming and outgoing loads. Communicate discrepancies and report potential service issues promptly. Complete all relevant documentation, picking, and packing tasks. Operate manual handling equipment as trained. Follow company health & safety policies to ensure a safe working environment. Report any damage to property or equipment and escalate appropriately. Undertake any additional duties as directed by the line manager.Requirements Valid and in-date B1 Counterbalance FLT licence. Minimum 1 year experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment. Experience using 3.5 tonne double pallet handlers (desirable). Good level of English (speaking, reading, writing). Strong teamwork, numeracy, and basic IT skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions in a busy environment. Physically fit with the ability to perform manual handling tasks.
