Duration: 3 Months (Temp to Perm)
Role Purpose: The Building Services Shift Engineer is responsible for supporting the shift leader, to ensure the safe, compliant, and uninterrupted operation of all mechanical, electrical, and building services within the estate.
Complexity:
- Assist with the day-to-day operation including subcontractors where required.
- To ensure all teams PPM and repairs are carried out as necessary in line with Contract SLA.
- To ensure all reactive tasks are completed in a timely manner so as to meet the SLA assigned.
- Shift Engineers to assist Shift leaders with responding to incidents, providing critical support on building incidents.
- Required to safely operate and maintain the HVAC, HV, L8, Mechanical and Electrical systems and associated equipment on site in line with current legislation.
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- IPAF Certificated for 3a & 3b machines (Desirable).
- Team working experience. Must have the balanced ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances.
- C&G BS 7671 or equivalent.
- HVAP qualification.
- Mechanical qualifications desirable.
- Confined space qualification desirable.
- Inspection and Testing 2391 desirable.
- Time served buildings engineer with bias electrical.
- Experience working on various mechanical systems (LTHW/CHWS/BCWS).
- Experience on L8 ACOP.
- Must be time served electrical tradesman or by recognised equivalent certification by a recognized body.
- IOSH Managing safely or similar health and safety course.
